Open PMS100 – enter your facility and select sorting order 7 Actual start date and view STD07/01-07 – General
Example 1: started orders, not fully reported.
Above selection enables verification for all users involved in the manufacturing order flow, to see if their part of the flow is fully reported. This also allows financial dept to verify which started orders are still open (with regard to month closing procedures, WIP accounts).
- Select orders in sts below 90 = open manufact. orders (finished order has sts 90).
- Actual start date: if any transaction is reported for a manufacturing order, the earliest reporting date is the actual start date of the order.
- Right next to the actual start date, there is a column with the start date = planned start date (= start date entered in PMS001 when creating the order).
- Order status: when the order is fully reported, the order has status 90.
- Material status: this is the lowest material status; if all used material lines are fully reported, this should be sts 99.
- Recd = quantity received from production, reported in PMS050; if item is quality inspected and put-away has been reported, that quantity will be manufactured quantity (open header in display mode).
It may seem that all has been reported for this MO, but order status = 80, not fully reported:
Example 2: Orders not started yet: actual start date blank, makes it easier to see if existing orders still should be used, rescheduled or maybe even should be deleted, so they will not affect planning / MRP calculations.
