In the cloud configuration for reports that offer dual-format options (Excel and PDF), users must select to which format or both to receive. This functionality depends on a specific configuration in MNS204(Done by IT), which affects the following reports:

• APS501PF
• ARS501PF
• ARS516PF
• CAS531PF

As you can see on the image below, we have CAS531PF that is set with both reports.

Steps to Resolve Dual format Report Generation Issues:

When printing a report, users are directed to an additional screen where they must select the desired format (Excel, PDF, or both). Please see the image below for reference.

By default (First Time Use), for the first time you print a report, neither format (Excel or PDF) will be checked. If you click Confirm without making a selection, an error will occur, and the report will not be printed. Instead, you will receive an error message via email.

To avoid this issue, make sure to select the desired report format (Excel, PDF, or both) before confirming. Once you've made your selection, press Confirm. This is shown in the image below.

Please be aware that you may have to expand the filter option to show these details.

The system will remember your choice for future report generations. This only needs to be done the first time you print the report. You will not receive the error message again unless you leave both boxes unticked again.

You can change your preferred format at any time by returning to this screen and adjusting your selection. However, after the initial setup, the system will remember your choice, and you will no longer encounter the error message.

Ensure to select the appropriate report format during the first use to prevent errors. After that, the system will remember your choice, and no further action will be needed unless you wish to change the format.
