The location of the stored Teams cache has changed in the latest version of the Teams app.

Step 1 – Quit the current instance of the Microsoft Teams app.

Step 2 – Closing the MS Teams minimizes it to the Taskbar corner overflow area. So, tap that button once to see all the icons there.

Step 3 – The Microsoft Teams logo will be there. Right-click that and “Quit” to quit the Teams app.

Step 4 – Now, hold down the Windows and the R keys, briefly.

Step 5 – Later, paste this address into the box and hit Enter.

Step 6 – Teams stores the local cache on your computer here.

Step 7 – So, select all the files and folders you find there. Hit the Delete key from your keyboard and empty the entire folder.

The next time you launch Teams, it will automatically build a new profile.
