NB: Standard Bank has changed its desktop banking app since it stopped using its JRE version. Below are steps on how to download and install the new Java free app.

1. Go to the download link: https://download.businessonline.standardbank.co.za/Offline/app/Offline.jnlp

2. download the Amazon Carretto version 8.332.08.1, link: https://corretto.aws/downloads/resources/8.332.08.1/amazon-corretto-8.332.08.1-windows-x64-jdk.msi

3. Download IcedTea from the Software Center or download from this link: https://github.com/AdoptOpenJDK/IcedTea-Web/releases/download/icedtea-web-1.8.8/icedtea-web-1.8.8.msi

4. After downloading and installing Amazon and IcedTea, you need to locate Offline.jnlp, right-click, choose Open with, and then click javaws.exe.
