This article describes the Power BI solution used to generate certificates of analysis for Singapore.
The solution is intended to support the creation of a certificate of analysis documents by pulling the necessary data from Labvantage Prod and M3 cloud data.
For this, the report uses 2 connections:
- Connection to the Production Labvantage database (used to pull COA details)
- Connection to M3 cloud data database (used to pull lot number information using the item number and invoice number)
Please note that the M3 Cloud has a delay of 30 minutes.
The solution is available at the following link: CoA Report Generator - Power BI
The report requires 7 inputs to be executed:
- Type the Division and press "Enter" (for example "A01")
- Type the invoice number and press "Enter" (for example 002500138)
- Select the Item number from the "Item number" dropdown (for example 800117-21-S3)
- Select the Lot number from the "Lot number" dropdown (for example 2502025914)
- Select the Batch Id from the "Batch id" dropdown (for example B-20250213-00308)
- Select single/multiple values under analysis, based on your requirement
- Type the Shipping remarks, if any.
- After selecting all the values, you need to click on View report on the right corner.
Only if the invoice number and item number are properly mapped to the lot number on M3, will the lot number dropdown be populated. The lot number needs to be mapped to a batch id on the LV server to populate the batch id dropdown. Please note that you will be able to generate the report if and only if all the first six parameters have values.
Once the output is generated you can export to a PDF file by clicking on Export and then PDF (.pdf)
The pdf version of the certificate will be downloaded to the \Downloads folder on your computer.
