If you are not wanting the new Kemin branded PowerPoint template to pop up each time you are using the app and creating a presentation, take the following steps by updating the default theme:
- Open PowerPoint.
- On the Design tab, select the arrow under Themes.
- Point to the theme you want to set as default, right-click it, and select Set as Default Theme. (In our case let’s choose the blank default theme.)
(The first theme under “office” is the default blank theme.)
You will not need to restart your computer and the next time that you open a new presentation, it will open with the theme that you set as the default.
