Report templates are made with Jaspersoft Studio software.  The template is loaded onto the LabVantage server.

As users manually or automatically generate reports, there can be times when there is an error printing of reports and need to be reprinted again.

Sometimes a report needs to be generated that is not part of the normal workflow of the lab.

This is a way to generate ad hoc reports.

Accessing Execute Reports

1.  Access the Execute Reports option on the Reports tram line on the LIMS menu

2.  A list of all the reports the user has access to is listed.  The user may need to refresh the list to view it.

View Report Setup

1.  Select a report link

2.  A popup window will show giving the report setup details.

Run a Report

1.  Mark the radio button of a report to run.

2.  Select the Run Report button

3.  Select the output location

4.  Select the output format

5.  If the report requires additional arguments, they will be presented in this section.

6.  Select Run Report button

7.  Within the same window, the report will be generated

8.  From this window, the report can be exported or sent to a printer.
