Issue:

How to check in Outlook if an email received is a phishing email

Fix:

1) The sample email below looks like a valid one but is suspicious as it prompts you to click a "Review and Sign" link.

2) View the message headers in Outlook on your desktop by doing the following:

- Double-click an email message to open it outside of the Reading Pane.

- Click File > Properties.

- Header information appears in the Internet headers box.

3) You will see a similar window to see the message header of the email sent to you.

4) If the "Return-Path: email address" is NOT the same as the "From: email address," the email is then a Phishing email.

5) Report the email as Phishing.
