3E Generate: Not allowed to Remove old/obsolete Manufacturer

 

  • Open the Module -> Manufacturers.
  • Find the Manufacturer.
  • Right Click and select “Delete”.

 

 

  • If the Manufacturer is used on any products (current or obsolete) you’ll receive the following message:

 

 

 

 

  • To identify all the materials which still have this manufacturer assigned to them, you can use the following search object:

 

  • Search in the Manufacturer column for the Manufacturer Name in question.
  • This should give you the list of all the materials which are still using the old/obsolete Manufacturer.
    1. Open their “Section 1” and remove the assignment.
