Problem

When looking in the Contact Index you are not able to find a contact.

Limitations: The ability to view contacts is limited by access level. If you have 'Author' level access you are only able to see the contacts where you are listed as the Sales Rep or Company Sales Rep.

Users with 'Manager' or 'Admin' level access are able to see all contacts. Author levels with Sharing set up for another user can see that user's contacts.

If you need access to a contact that you currently do not have access to, you should contact your Nexa Admin.

Best Practice:

  • Go to the Contact section of Nexa
  • Type the name of the contact (or partial name of the contact) in the top of the name column
  • Tip: Try typing part of the name instead of the entire name

Possible Solutions:

Change your view

  1. The 'All Active Contacts' view hides inactive Contacts. So if a Contact has been marked as 'Inactive' it will not appear in the index.
    1. Change the view in the drop down to the 'Inactive Contacts' view

    2. Or change the filter to also show Inactive Contacts
      1.
  2. If you have a custom view applied, use the view drop down to select the All Active Contacts or the Inactive Contacts view.

 Restore View

  1. If you already have the 'All Active Contacts' view applied you may need to restore the view to it's default settings to remove any filters that are applied.
  2. Click on the Restore button (circled arrows) to clear any filters that may have been applied and restore the view defaults.
