Problem:

When looking at the Company Index you are not able to find a company/customer.

Best practice: How to find a company

  • Go to the companies section of Nexa
  • Type the name of the company (or partial name of the company) in the top of the company name column
    • Tip: Try typing part of the company name instead of the entire name
  • Note: All users, no matter what access level they have, can VIEW all companies for their BU in Nexa.

Possible Solutions

Change your view

  1. Sometimes a view may be selected that is filtering out companies. Use the drop down to change your view to the 'All Active Companies' view.

Restore View

  1. If you already have the 'All Active Companies' view applied you may need to restore the view to it's default settings.
  2. Click on the circled arrow to clear any filters that may have been applied.

Remove filters

  1. The 'All Active Companies' view filters out inactive companies and delivery address type companies. So if the company you are looking for has been marked as inactive, or is listed as a delivery address, it will be hidden from the index. It is possible to removed that filtering from the view.
  2. Click the filter button on the upper right side of the companies index
  3. When the filter window appears, click the 'x' next to the 'Is Inactive' line and click the 'x' next to the 'Type' line.
  4. Click the 'OK' button
  5. If you have other filters applied you can also remove them from here.
