Once MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) is enabled at Kemin, it may cause Power BI datasets refresh to fail if those flows are connected to Office 365 services such as SharePoint, Outlook, OneDrive, or Planner. 

The fix for this is a simple re-authentication.


When the dataset refresh fails you'll received an email alert similar to the one reported here below.




If you click on the name of the dataset (1) you'll be redirected to the settings panel.


  • Click on Edit credentials

  • then select Sign in




  • finally choose your Kemin account.


This will fix the issue and the dataset settings panel will look clear from any error.
