If multiple users were working on the same batch while it was going through QA approval, it's possible for the Approval to be saved but the Batch getting stuck in Pending Release.  The fix for this is to reset the approval so it can be approved again and moved forward into the Historical Batches tramstop.  This can be done with a new button located inside the Review & Release screen normally used for approval and release.

  • This Batch has already gone through the Approval process, but is still sitting in the Pending Release tramstop.  There was no way to move it into Historical at this point without a manual update directly to the database.  The disposition is already set and locked, but the batch is still Pending Release.  You aren't able to UnRelease because the batch hasn't been released, so it would just be stuck at this point.
  • Using the new Reset Approval button at the top will remove the approvals and the batch will be able to go through the approval steps again.  After clicking the button, you'll be able to go back into the Approve/Rejectscreen (1) to re-do the approval (2).
  • After re-approving the batch, you'll see the new status of Released along with entries for Released By and Released Date.
  • The batch is now released and will be listed in the Historical Batches tramstop.
