If original and new item number don’t have the same lot control method, the system will not allow to reclassify to this new item number – error message on invalid lot control method. Alternative would be to do stock corrections in plus and minus for both items.

Example: reclassification from item 900029 to new item number 900081:

MMS001/E shows that lot control method is different for both items. 

Alternative for a reclassification without changing settings in MMS001, would be to do a stock correction in minus and plus for both items.
