ISSUE:

How to ensure that valid quarantined emails by the Barracuda Email Security Service (BESS) are attended by the End-user at the soonest possible time. 


BACKGROUND:

By default, the End-user's BESS Quarantine Notification is set for once a week every Monday from 8 AM to 9 AM.


SOLUTION:

Set the notification of the BESS Quarantine Notification every day from Monday to Friday and for a two window period at 8 AM to 9 AM & at 1 PM to 2 PM.


STEPS:


1: Login to the Barracuda Email Security Service portal. This link is under the Kemin Favorites or Bookmark.


2. Enter your Kemin Internet email address.


3. Key-in your Windows password.


4. The Barracuda Email Security Service Window will show up.


5. Go to Settings.



6. Go to Quarantine Notification.



7. Set the Schedule Notification Intervals.



8. Click Save.


9. Click Log Out.



10. On the the scheduled quarantine notification window that you have set, you should be able to received similar email in Outlook. Click Deliver or Whitelist if the quarantine email or emails are valid or if you are expecting emails sent from a trusted Customer or Vendors.
