ISSUE:

There are times when a reported laptop issue is hardware related and may require next business day (NBD) support from Lenovo. To quickly address the hardware issue, we may need to have the user reporting the issue to call their local country Lenovo Support due support proximity and language barrier at times.

SOLUTION:

Prior to asking the user to contact their local Lenovo Support, please ensure to provide the user their Lenovo laptop details, warranty information, BIOS version, Windows version and troubleshooting steps taken. Please also provide a copy of the user's laptop purchase invoice as this may be required by Lenovo in order to provide the NBD support. Ask the user to provide later the Lenovo ticket number given to them for follow up purposes.

1. Goto your Web browser and open the link https://support.lenovo.com/us/en.

2. If you would like to get the Technical Support number of Lenovo Thailand for example, change the Lenovo website to go to the Lenovo Thailand Support page.

3. Browse the Lenovo Thailand Support page and click the Contact Us button.

4. Key in the serial number of the laptop having the hardware issue.

5. Click the Search icon.

6. Click Yes when prompted.

7. On the next page, click the Support Phone List link.

8. The  Lenovo Thailand Technical Support number will now be shown.

9. In the event of local language text showing up, open a Thailand to English translator in Google.

10. Copy and paste the local language text in the Thailand to English translator program.

11.  The translated text in English is now shown.

12. In some cases, toll free number are provided. Should you need a local number, you can do  a Lenovo Live Chat and ask for the local number. Alternatively, if Lenovo Live Chat is not available, Lenovo Supports provides Whatsapp Chat or Line Chat messaging.
