There is real-time out of office flagging on approvers.

This means that if one of the approvers is out of the office at the time the workflow is started

  • the initiator will receive an "approval request" saying who is out of the office
  • and it will ask if they want to 
    1. APPROVE ==> this means CONTINUE the workflow and also ask approval from the Out of Office user. 
    2. REJECT    ==> equals CANCEL the workflow and stop the workflow.


Note1

IF REJECTED, You can  use the same form again to request approval from one or more other or the same users:  

  • going into EDIT mode, 
  • removing or replacing the user who is Out of Office
  • selecting the "Submitted" status
  • and SAVE the form. 

You do not need to complete a whole new form unless you want to do so.


Note2: 

FINAL APPROVED forms cannot be routed through approval again, if the form is approved you must create new.
